I know noggie has it on pre-order, I'll be picking it up on the release day (or soon after if its sold out). I'm guessing max will also.

So we going to go with the boards.ie crowd or perhaps as suggested by Noggies better half follow their guild.

Perhaps one advantage of the later is they're already formed and unlikely to disband the way previous boards attempts at guilds have. According to Teekhup they'll be following this lot (http://forums.the-white-rose.net/showthread.php?t=3226).

Now I know its a beta test, but its not looking good so far, reminds me very much of the same problems there where with Age of Conan.

Played a good bit this evening. Very impressed so far. Really slick. Gfx aren't cutting edge, UI is the best ever overall (tome of knowledge is great). Lots of different classes. Public Quests are great. The pvp scenarios are great fun. Absolutely loads to do, tons of content. Great gear - it looks great, even low level stuff. Very Warhammer.

This is the MMO we've all been waiting for I think.

We will definitely be baddies, and it will be on a core server. This will be a way to get you guys info on which server we end up on. I think we have something like 23 members in the guild in the open beta. They are on Karak-Hirn at the moment.

RIght, Head Hunters is going onto Karak Eight Peaks, destruction side.

All you'll need for a guild invite is to post like i said above and send a message to someone in game (or a PM on the head hunters board to someone to get a name to send a message to)

Well the early access starts tomorrow (I think) so worth deciding soon.
bth I'd be more in favor of the Head Hunters than boards, they seem more on our wave length ie. old :D

That said I'm happy to stay out of a guild altogether and take it as it comes even keeping it a nice informal group. Still want to see where the one or two dummy spitters are going to go.

On a side note any point getting us a small vent server, I'm happy to sponsor one if its useful.

I nominate Max as our WarHammer Overlord, I'll just follow the herd.

Yeah, that's what I just did. Rolled two guys as Destruction on Eight Peaks and an Order Witch Hunter on Azgal.

As to which is better, I don't know. Basically like WoW there is a mirror on each side. So a Bright Wizard is more or less the same as a Sorceror.

Hi lads are yas sticking with boards guilds or head hunters or just a small knit guild of yourselves?

Doesn't look like we'll be with the boards guild, though I'm tempted to the opposite side to the boards guild, actually I will for certain roll there first.

The Head Hunters seem a fun bunch but I'm equally not sure I actually want into the guild, sometimes doing your own thing is better. Established guilds can have a habit of pressuring people into power levelling where I'd like to see the game at my own pace tbh.

Why what's your plan's cully ? I'd be more than happy to have a smaller informal group to a larger driven one.


My preference for what its worth would be a smaller group and then see how it does. That said I'll tag along with you guys regardless.

Well ive been playing wow with the TiG guys,some have got WAR and playing but not enough to make a guild,infact its only Abe from tig atm.
I havent gamed with the lads on boards at all so was thinking of going with you lads but i see yas have gone opposite to the boards.
Ive levelled up a shaman and sorceress to lvl 8 on the server you lads have Order.
This has put me in a dilemna for sure lol.
So not sure what to do.
Currently messing around with a zealot on Azgal too.
At this stage im getting tired of starting over on different chars so realy need to settle somewhere :)

I've not really had a chance to play the destruction side yet, the queue has been too long.
But the order side is ok, nowhere near the same length of queueing max of 15 minutes compared to an hour or more.
Get abe to join us...

Well I've rolled Order on Azgal (boardsies are Destruction) and Destruction on Eight Peaks (they are Order). So it looks like Darkkeep (& HH) vs. Boards on all fronts for me.

Well I'm planning on sticking with it and doing a sideline on my warg.

As for order/destruction, I've only played order to date, I'll try and give destruction a go tonight if the queue is not too long. Though if any of you are on before me I'll aim to join up with you.

I'm planning on playing both sides at some point, but i'll start as destruction, as an orc of course. If the game takes off and they end up adding the likes of the skaven etc, I can see me playing this for a long long time.

Come join us, we've rolled both order and destruction. But with the length of teh queues its been order only so far.

I'd quite like the idea of playing a skaven :)
