I'm not sure how many of us have Colonization, so this is a heads up to see if anyone would be interested in starting another pbem game ?

Absolutely Rev, and I know I speak for Tash as well in his absence. I believe he is returning to on-board duties in a week, so if needs be we could just do what we did in Nogs game and I could play his turns till he is able.

*hiss* *crackle* -kkeepers *fzzzzt* are you recieving me?

Coming to the end of my holiday in the far east, I'm returning to Saigon in a few days to be reunited with my laptop, if it has not been dismantled and sold for parts already that is.

Work has taken an axe to my plans once more, so I'm really not sure when I'll have a chance to buy colonization, I was planningon picking it up during a stop over in Paris on my way to Brazil, but now I'm no longer going to Brazil, so who knows.

That said, I am keen on a game, and if BB is willing, y'all can start at your leisure and I'll pick up the reins later.

MP is restricted to 4 players afaik (read it in previews), so if somebody else is ready and willing, they can make up the quartet and i'll play next time.

Doesn't look like there's a limit on the pbem, at least it let me start a game with 6 players in it.

I'll give it another day to see if anyone else wants to join in, aiming to start on friday. I'm sure we can get someone to stand in for 'tash if he wants.

Stick your suggestions down for the game setup.

As I said earlier I have no problem with standing in for Tash until he gets back.

Anyone else finding the single player tough going? I always seem to be lacking resources/money. My only accomplishment so far has been razing a tiny Native settlement with hired muscle from Europe.

Key breakthrough for me was discovering that you could click on the green button above the colonists in the europe screen.

Yes Max, what a breakthrough!

I only discovered that late last night. No more petty criminals working as blacksmiths! What I need now is to discover a way to automate Wagon trains to deliver surpluses to where there are scarcities.

Sounds like too little war and too much governing, not for me.
