New BTS Game ?

Who would be up for another BTS game?

I'm thinking as late a start as possible to get things going. We could try another of the mods that came with the last expansion.

Suggestions in a bottle if you're interested. I sure Ghoulious Caesar will play so that's two to start with.

So we want to play vanilla or try another mod, Gods of War could be interesting assuming it works ok in pbem.

I'm happy to do a vanilla game, with perhaps the following set-up:

Map: Fractal
Size: Standard or Large depending on number of players
Climate: Temperate
Sea level: Medium
Era: Industrial
Speed: Quick
World: Toroidal
Resources: Standard.


We could also perhaps add:
Advanced Start -> 5200

No tech brokering means that you can't trade techs you traded for in the first place but you can trade techs you did the hard research for yourself. Tis alright. Although the ability to wring good deals from bad ones by wheeling-dealing is part of civ.

Ok so far we have

Rev, Nog, 'Tash, BB, Justice, Max (?) and Blitzkrieger.

I'll look to throw out the first turn on Thursday evening, which will give Blitz a chance to get patched up etc, find manuals, etc >:D

If Ghoulious gets back to me or we get another from boards we'll do the joined at the hip setup in tash's games otherwise its everyone for themselves.

There's nothing really for you to do.
You get a lump sum, which you can pour into tech, units, cities, etc at the start to kick start your civilization. We'll be generous with the starting amount :)
