wait, what? I don't think an 8 player epic is a good idea, I mean, 6 player quick Tango took nigh on 3 years to finish....

I agree with Tash, epic speed, particularly with ancient start is going to take an awful long time. I think we tried it before and that game ended up being abandoned - and that was with far less than 8 players, which of itself is going to be slow (but fun!).

The problem is the majority of your turns are spent doing nothing other than clicking the next turn button. Quick speed isn't actually as quick as you might think in a pbem game.

Better to restart now which is a shame because I had a decent starting area (for once!).
