And so here we go after a delay caused by inclement weather in the south atlantic, dodgy satelite reception and a riot in Northern Angola.

The map size is standard, world type is Ring, wrap is toroidal. Rules are fairly standard: Barbs are off, vassals are off. Everything else is on. Victory condition is limited to time or conquest. It's advanced, ancient start with 3500 points which get us up and running very fast indeed.

For those new to team game, all visiblity and research is shared in the team. If you research the same thing, your efforts are pooled. Wonder benefits usually apply to both members as well, e.g. if you build the Pentagon, your partner will also get a 2XP bonus in their cities.
